Recorded live in Owensboro Ky. at the Chautauqua Park Youth Center 1977. We kind of sucked but we had a heck of a lot of fun.
We recorded this at an afternoon show at the youth center which was way cool for us. We had been playing backyard parties, basements, garages, open field parties on hay wagons and here we were at the youth center that had music, plays etc. and had a giant truss full of stage lighting. We felt like rock stars and I think they even gave us forty dollars. (not apiece) We had fun on both shows with our friends Johnny Wheeler, Mike Grimes, Jeff Wahler, Robert Wood, Rachel, and maybe Ron Raley, Debbie, Jeff Knott heck I can't remember. It was forty years ago coming up in August. What I do remember is that it was fun. We had stuff falling out of the back of Sylvan's dads super cool Ford pick-up truck. Sylvan's monstrous Kustom rig, My Univox, Chris's blue and green Ludwig's and Doug's totally weird and tall Jordan combo. What a great time we had, forty years later and we are still talking about it.
